For our field work for the final project we did behavioral mapping of the isle. I took the southwestern point of the isle. I found that it was a bit easier than trying to map the behaviors of Palmeri Plaza because not as many passed. I tried something different though with the mapping trying to works of actions and arrows if the action had a direction, such as walking. I think it was useful because you can see where the most common actions were at each site, the problem was that I didn’t always capture the exact number of people. I also may to use different colors to indicate actions while behavioral mapping. Findings included that most people laid or sat on the rock and that most people walked on the trail, a side note is that most people came from the northeast side of the island. Also, which leads me to the conclusion what the community values in the park is nature and relaxation.
